Authentic Crafts
We endeavour to represent as many aspects of a medieval household as possible.
We therefore have a range of craftsmen and women portraying aspects of medieval life through demonstrations and displays of crafts and activities, many of whom may be in attendance at events, including:
- stonemason
- weaver
- dyer
- candle-maker
- bee-keeper
- cook
- fisherman (with coracle!)
- silkwoman
- glassworker
- fletcher
- musician
- apothecary
...and other displays of armour, artefacts and historical items.
All our craftspeople are knowledgeable about their subject, are all very approachable and are willing to talk to the public about their particular expertise.
